Lenskart is an Indian eyewear online shopping site founded by Peyush Bansal, Amit Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi in 2010. They offer a variety of eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. It also has self owned stores in various cities of India.
Though they have become a giant in the eyewear business, my experience with them is not satisfactory at all. There is no doubt that they offer high quality glasses of various categories. But the prices of those glasses are extremely high. The lower middle class public are not able to afford them at all. A friend of mine once placed an order for two eyeglasses. But it was really shocking for us to see that one of them have scratches on it.
The customer service is not good. The are not empathetic towards the customers. Lenskart is not recommended for the middle class families.
