ABOUT: X1 is a beautifully crafted smartphone with sharp colors on a bright and optimally sized screen however the build quality could have been better. One cannot ask for more for a design like iPhone at this price however a customer would not mind spending a 1000 bucks more for a better plastic body.
APATHY: Been using the phone since Aug and noticed that the phone restarts on every call(over and above 5-10 mins). Very irritating and disappointing.
AFTER EFFECTS: Visited the nearest service center last evening and they admit it's a problem with X1 and X5 both due to some hardware issues. If I was in US/Canada/Europe the manufacturer would have realized this and recall all devices asap. But unfortunately this is India. They inform the customer about this when you beg and crib.
Well, my phone is away for another 10 days and hoping it gets better with the so-called hardware repairs within 3 months of purchase.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Would not recommend X1 or X5 to anyone. Don't go by the looks.
OPTIONS: The service center guy mentioned that Iris 504q+ is much better and have no issues reported till date. So if anyone wishes to try his luck.
