I had been to this place with my friend from school on day trip. This place is in Patna and you can easily reach here through all kinds of transportation medium.
I was not so much excited before, about this place but after coming to this place I realize this place is the best place for all the book lovers.
You will find all kinds of books and this library won the national award for their unique book collections. We saw so many books and few of them was of ancient period during Mughal era. I was really surprised well this library deals with various depth of Urdu literature. Khuda Baksh National library attract urdu scholars from all over the world.
This place was built by Mohammad Baksh and his son Khuda Baksh in the year 1889. In the year 1969 this library earned the status of national library because of unique and priceless collections books. This Library has amazing collection of over 21000 manuscripts and 2.5 lakhs of printed books. There are so many books which reflect the culture and lifestyle of the bygone era. I will highly recommend this place to everyone.
