Build quality of JioFi is fine. Battery Life is not an issue. However there are major issue related to this. This device gets heated fast when using. The Wi-Fi range is poor. Its just upto 5 metres.
During usage when the device is connected to the power supply, when it attains 100% charge, the device automatically turns off. Same problem is there for USB Connection, it keeps shutting down.
When JioFi is connected to PC using USB tether, the max speed it attains is 2Mbps, the average speed is 600Kbps(Worse than MTNL Speed).
When I removed the SiM from JioFi and inserted it into my Moto G5, then the ookla test gave a speed of 21Mbps
