Definately You have better choices to learn JavaScript( js) from alternative sources like Tuturoilspoint or Javatpoint website. I read this book because it was in Javascript syllabus. You will find all outdated techniques of Javascript. Most of examples are outdated and were designed for Internet explorer and Netscape browser. Regular Expression is only one chapter that you will find useful from this book. But otherwise I wont suggest this book to any begginer. Go and learn Javascript from online classes and forums
