ixigo is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
We booked a train ticket through Ixigo on 28th Jan for ₹1070, but due to the Ixigo guarantee, the ticket cost us around ₹1700. We had booked 12 tickets, out of which 5 tickets under the guarantee cost us an extra ₹700, which Ixigo charged. Our train was scheduled for 2:40 PM on the 31st, but we did not receive any confirmation by the 30th, even for the guarantee tickets. Then on the 31st, at 11 AM, the train was shown as canceled. The ₹700 we paid for the guarantee was also wasted, and we were given a coupon worth ₹5000, which we can use within 7 days in a single transaction. But we are sure that even if we try to book with it, the booking won’t get confirmed, and just like today, a message will come saying the train is canceled 3 hours prior. This site is fraudulent, and I request everyone not to book through it. There are no contact details or helpline numbers available for complaints.
