A fraud company. Review on Housejoy

Where does one begin? There are so many things wrong about this company that one is left utterly frustrated and cheated.

Firstly, their rates are exorbitant. Rs 300/- to change a switch, the same price for laying 1m of external electrical wiring. This company should cater only for the rich in India and not for the common man. Their so called professional technicians are nothing but a bunch of crooks. These technicians openly state that if the service is booked through Housejoy then the rates are 3 times as much, but if the work is given to them outside Housejoy then it will be much cheaper.

Secondly, they claim that there is a guarantee of 30 days for any job done. This is a blatant lie and a marketing gimmick. Despite repeated mails and telephone calls, no one turns up to rectify the shoddy jobs done by their so called "professional technicians".

Thirdly, there is no standard rate for any job. The rates depend on which technician lands up to inspect the job and varies depending upon their greed. In today's world where every service from medical treatments to drugs and to every other service is being regulated to display a rate card, this is one service that has been making merry by fleecing customers by being totally arbitrary in their pricing.

Lastly, a company like this can only operate and thrive in India. In any other country they would have been taken to the cleaners rather than the company offering fraudulent "cleaning" services. They should be sued in a court of law.
