I had to visit haridwar for my official tour and had a meeting the very next day in morning in haridwar. I landed in haridwar via bus inharidwar area and searched for a decent hotel for one night stay. I could see the nearby hotel was hotel marwari niwas hotel and it was quite late so thought to drop in and stay overnight there. The receptionist said there was only one room left so had no option and have to check in that room itself. There was no lift so have to climb up the stairs 2 floors.
I then Entered the room and it was stinking bad. I asked for a room fresher which they denied so had to spray my Deo to wave off that bad smell. The room was very small and the bed sheet was also not clean. Have to call again and again either for something or else. The staff was lazy too to provide the service. In the morning, the staff rang the bell and woke me saying it was time to check out. It was very rude of them and would never want again to land up in this hotel.
