Hello All,
Last week I had went to Ajmer with my husband for Dargah Visit. We searched few hotels before & opted for Grand Xenia as we found it good, luxurious with reasonable rates.
When we arrived, we found that its bit outside from the city area. Our purpose to visit Ajmer was for Dargah & so this distance became drawback.
ROOM QUALITY- Good, clean & well maintained. Window view is awesome giving a scenic view of the city & mountains. All basic amenities were present
AMBIENCE- Too good & attractive. Clean & beautiful. Big & scenic view on backside.
Guest Services- Need to be trained well, they dont know how to handle well & didnt knew many things when asked. When we use to call them for housekeeping services, it got transferred to other & other. Secondly, its bit far from the city centre & difficult to get rickshaw & taxis, they dont have any arrangement for help in any kind- no numbers of any taxis/rickshaws.
FOOD & PRESENTATION - We had breakfast & it was good except only one juice was available - that too watermelon juice.
Value for money- OK considering all in mind. Check the bill attached.
But Overall I would not recommend this hotel & myself wont stay again coz - 1) Far from city, difficulty in getting any taxi & the amount you pay for from going & coming back from dargah or to station . Its better to add 500-1k more & search hotel in dargah vicinity & you can visit dargah more as it will be nearby. 2) Guest services not satisfied.
