Honda the name is enough. Review on Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Before buying the bike I have 3 things in my mind. Reliability, Mileage and Power. I had 3 bikes in mind 1. Pulsar 150 2. Apache 160  3.Unicorn .

Why I need a bike? City traffic of course. Some parts of city now a days too crowdy that going by a car there is just impossible.

Pulsar - Too many pulsars on the road and reliability is the big issue. Siting position also not comfortable.

Apache - Overall a good bike but needed frequently spares change specially chain set. TVS bikes never known for reliability either.

Unicorn -  So at last I decided to go for Honda Unicorn Dazzler.(Waise maine yeh pehle hi decide kiya hua tha baki bikes ko main waise hi dekhne gaya tha ki shayad mera decision change ho lekin aisa kuch nahi hua). Honda bus naam hi kafi hai. I have  book the black Unicorn and wait for 10 days for the delivery( Because black colour was not available)

Honda Dazzler got a powerful 149 CC Air cooled single cylinder petrol engine. The engine has been improved over previous Honda Unicorn.( Waise purana CB Unicorn bhi mujko pasand hai aur woh 3, 000 saste bhi tha.)

Why I chose Unicorn Dazzler over CB Unicorn. The three main reasons are 1. Tubeless tyres 2. Digital meter 3. Front Disk Brake.

The Max Power of the new engine is 14 BHP. As they claim the mileage of Honda Dazzler is about 60 KM per liter of petrol. I get 51 kmpl in city and 57 kmpl on highway and this too before first service. Drive mostly @ 45 kmph.

Length – 2073mm, width – 754mm, height – 1085mm. Fuel tank can hold about 12 Litre of Petrol. Disk brakes at both front and rear. Racing Style Mono-shock suspension at the rear. 17 Inch sporty black alloy wheels. The top speed of Dazzler is 112 KM/hour(as they claim). Some claims over 120 kmph. Abhi itni tez nahi chalaya hai 90 kmph tak hi ja paya hoon.

Maintenance free battery- This bike is without kick.

Both disk brakes - Believe me disk brakes always benefit. Very helpful in 1-2 times for me so far.

Front and back Mono Suspension - Very good and makes the ride comfortable. No fatigue even after 100 kms drive.Mono suspension kamar ho ya kamra poora aram rehta hai.

Total Rokda spend kiya hai round about 69, 500(Insurance  , RC, Accessories included)

Now the first service is done lets see whether mileage improves or not.

Some other features of the bikes are - Black alloy wheels, Dual Tone colored seats, chrome heat-shield on silencer.
