I bought 7 units of 1.5. and 2 ton ACs for my bungalow 7 years ago and they are still going well with regular servicing. The residence is in a dusty town and prone to lot of dust coming in. Even then the ACs have performed rather well. We have not used them continuously as we use the bungalow a few months a year. The only problem is the remotes stopped functioning in 2 years time and the new ones are really costly.
