I took Life Super Income Plan from HDFC Life Insurance. The policy was advised by Mr. VijayShekar Sawant. I was supposed to pay a monthly EMI of Rs 980.
But the SMS I received said a whole different story. According to it I had to pay annual premium of Rs 49, 000. I contacted Mr Sawant regarding this, he assured me that it was a technical error and I need not worry regarding this.
The next day I received a message from the bank regarding the payment decline of Rs 49, 000. And another message from HDFC saying that a fine of 500 has been imposed regarding failed payment. If I really had to pay 49, 000 for the policy I would have declined the offer as my income is not suitable for this policy.
