Hi all, I would like to share my personal experience with hdfc bank. When I was working in x company. Company offered a zero balance salary account. I was using that account for around 2 years. After the resignation from the company, the zero balance account automatically converted to savings account. I didnt get any notifications on that. I enquired about the balance to the bank person and he said there is only -60 rupees negative balance. As soon as I deposited the amount. The bank took 6000 rupees from the deposit amount. When I enquired about it. They said aqb charges for the period. After a long debate I said ok I want to drop the account. But they said you have to approach the home branch. Where as the home branch was the one with which I m standing currently . They refused that my employment details also. I dont know where is my home branch they shiftes. This is not fair at all. I have the check leaf which shows the home branch address as current branch. I will try to put case with proper evidence.
