Hachiko is a very emotional and heart touching movie. It is based on a true story of a Man and his pet dog. It depicts the love of the two.

The movie stars Richard Gere in the lead. This story is about Hachi a dog and his owner(played by Richard). It starts when Richard gets Hachi home when he was too young. And later both start developing love for each other. Faithful as the dogs are, Hachi loves Richard and dosen't like him going to office. He accompanies him till the station and then safely returns back home. In evening too he comes to receive Richard at the station. This happens regularly. Each day Hachi come to station to drop him and again receive him in evening. One day Richard suffers from a major heart attack in office and never returns back home and Hachi keeps his eye on the train and becomes restless as Richard doesn't return home.

It is based on a true story, which happened years back in japan and till today you can see the statue of Hachi placed outside a station in Japan in the same position as he waits for Richard   in the movie.

A very touching story. Must watch.
