I never thought that my love for Shawarma will increase so much unless I hit this place one evening. As my hubby used to work in Infosys Salarpuria campus at that time, he used to search for good food around.One day he came and swore that he has found a very delicious shawarma outlet in that area. As a proof, he brought 2 rolls for me. Once I tasted those, I could keep my all time favorite Pinto's aside! It was really great. I decided to visit the shop at least once for sure.
The place is very near to that Salarpuria campus, located on a busy food street of Electronic City. The shop was new at that time, the ambiance was good. We ordered for a shawarma plate and one portion of grilled chicken in the billing counter above. It was a take away. The pita breads and pickled cucumbers served with the shawarma were of very good quality. The grilled chicken was also grilled to perfection, tasted well with spicy onions and dip. While coming out we saw some new kind of grilled chicken on an iron rack, we asked what was that. They called it chicken alfam.
We ordered for that when we visited the place next time. The shawarma was fantastic as usual, here you will never find the chicken burned like charcoal, I hate that most in a shawarma roll. The purpose is to roast, not to burn after all! The alfam also proved to be a very good choice. A little bit dry in our taste, but the marination is perfect, slightly sour and cooked to perfection. It goes well with pita bread and mayonnaise.
I have tried fresh fruit juices here, those are good too. Chicken items are good here, even the biryani also suited us. This place is best for working lunch.
Last but not the least, this is the best shawarma joint in entire Electronic city. Not only the portion size and price, the chicken filling is succulent and very tasty. I can't stop with a single one, I need at least two whenever I visit!
