Hello everyone, modem is a hardware device that convert's analog signal into digital signal and digital signal into analog signal.
>we often get confused between modem and router but both are almost same.Router is a hardware device whose input cable is from the internet service provider and it's out put cable is been connected to wifi modem.so wifi modem distributes the waves and our mobile phones and laptops are connected to it, thus using internet.
> purchase modem which is in your budget but make sure to purchase a branded modem so that it can have a good warranty period and after sales service and can last long.
> Modem now a days have more number of antenna's usually from 1-4 antennas so that we can have a good range and a good connectivity.
>Also look for modem which has a more number of devices connectivity and a good range so that wifi signals are available in each and every corner of the house.
>Also keep your odem in such places where there is no direct sunlight and no moisture.
>Keep modem password protected so that no one except the you and your family members can use the wifi otherwise you will lose your data.
>Keep wifi modem and router off in storm and heavy rain affected areas and mostly in monsoon.
