I am very upset with the quality of your product and more upset by the way your staffs are dealing with the Customers. I am especially upset with your Show Room Manager’s Rajinikanth’s behavior. I have lost all hopes with your shop however saw a last hope when I saw a reply from one of your customer in this column. I am sure at least you will take action on my complaint.
Let me explain in detail what has happened. I brought a Sofa and a double cot in your Furniture City-Total Mall at Sarjapur Road (which is closed now) on 16th Aug 2008 for Rs 24000/-.From the day one there has been an issue or one. In the beginning Mr.Rajiv (then manager of your show room) was handling my complaints. First the sofa was torn in the sides and then there was a problem in the seater. Every time I have to repeatedly follow it up and only after repeated calls and visit to the show room action was taken.
The things were fine for the next 3 to 4 months and then I found that the sofa cover begin to tore. Then I started calling your show room staff and every time they said they will come tomorrow or within a week. Please note that I also have so many other works and your staff cannot expect me to come to your shop every other day with the complaint although I have visited your various show room for more than 10 to 15 times.
After seeing no response from your staff I got frustrated and went to Total Mall and was shocked to find your show room exists there no more. Let me also tell you that the Mall staffs were telling me that they are receiving at least 3 to 4 customers coming there with the same complaint almost daily. Also let me say that even before the show room in Total Mall was closed I visited your show room and the Manager there (I could not remember his name) said that Mr.Rajiv has left and he took my complaint but did not took any action.
{NB:Also in the repeated follow up to your shop I misplaced the bill somewhere. Please note that I purchased this sofa using my Credit card and I have the sufficient proof from my side}
After your show room was closed I was not sure whom to approach and was very much disappointed with the quality of your service. Then some how I located your BTM show room and spoke to the Show Room Manager- Kishore (later I came to know that he is a sales executive) and he promised me to do the needful. Then he made me to visit your BTM show room for thrice and after 3 months send a person to my house and now he says that I have to spend Rs 6000/- (He says that the total cost is Rs11000/ and he will pay 50%) when I asked him about the warranty he said that he is helpless and I have to speak to Rajinikanth in Bansawadi Show Room. Then when I asked him what took him so long he was giving some lame excuses or others.
Then I went to your Banaswadi show room and I am sorry to say that Rajinikanth behavior was the worst from the beginning. He was asking me about the bill then when I said that I have lost he was saying that he will have to verify and was saying that he has to re-start the process. Then when I asked why Kishore was acting on the complaint he said he is only a sales person and that I should approach the right person. I am at loss to understand how can I know who is the proper person? He was saying some ill logical statements that if I approach some person who is loading or un loading how can he help? Sir, I am not able to understand his logic. Then he was saying that it is more than a year then when I said I have been visiting your various show rooms then he said he is not bothered about it. Is this the way your staffs reply? I am very upset with this kind of statements. Then he also said that he will take a duplicate copy of bill and call me within 3 days. However from the way your staff behaves I have no hopes.
When I asked him who is boss is or who is the owner he said that they are all out of station always. I think he should be taught how to behave with the customers. He was also saying that if this is artificial leather it will not last for more than 1 year. Do you expect anyone to purchase some thing for Rs24000 for a year? Also this got spoiled in 6 months. Again this was not told when we purchased (I believe nobody including yourself will shell out Rs24000 for buying a Sofa which will only lost for a year).Your staffs are only bringing bad reputation to your show room by saying such irresponsible statements. He was also making fun of me saying that you can sit there and shout and he has a lot of work. Sir, do you accept your staff’s behavior here? If you cannot believe me I have recorded this conversation and am ready to share it with you if needed. Does he think that I have no work at all rather than visiting your shop?
I am sure that you will take action to rectify my sofa and also advise him how to behave with the customers. If this continues then your name will only go down.
Sir, I am once again hoping that you will solve my problem and am eager to see that the sofa is repaired.
