Placed an order no 30.53 for essential groceries on 6th May, 25 on the Flipkart website and delivery scheduled for 7th May, 25 between 10 A.M to 7 P.M.
Received SMS on 7th May, 25 at 09:10 A.M. from Flipkart's delivery agent, i.e Ekart that the order shall be delivered by 09:00 P.M. Another SMS from Ekart at 2:15 P.M. that the order shall not be delivered on 7th May 25 for reasons best known to them and revised delivery date as 8th May, 25.
A phone conversation on 8th May with Ms. Ankita from the customer support team at Flipkart was time consuming but with Zero result as the revised delivery date has been stretched until 09th May, 25.
Evident from the conversation with Ms. Ankita that the customer support team is poorly trained and unwilling to understand the customer's view point and value of time.
I strongly recommend that we as customers should abstain from Flipkart for our daily grocery requirements as they cannot match the delivery performance of Big Basket, Blinkit, Amazon and Jiomart. Furthermore, the process of getting a customer support agent from Flipkart for a resolution related to the delivery delays is cumbersome, time consuming and test of your patience limits.
