During sales and festive offer, I noticed flipkart decreasing small amount in the cost price of product and adding it to shipping charges. oriflame soap for instance. if you buy 1 soap from 1 seller, the shipping charge is 100 INR. If you buy 2 soaps, the shipping charge is 200 INR. Why? Why the seller have to pack 2 soaps in different pkg and ship differently?
Next, I think the lowest items on board cost around 20-25 INR. and their shipping charge is 100-200 INR. Why would you pay for such items when you can buy same from a local store that cross your daily commute.
I am a constant buyer from flipkart and think that I dont get value for money. I buy from flipkart only because I get free vouchers from friends. If I have to purchase from flipkart with my own money, it would be only something that is very attractive, I need it the most and is not available in mumbai. If the soap I want is available at virar, I dont mind spending 30 INR and travel from churchgate to virar- and it will be still cheaper to flipkar
