I have bought some baby products previously from Firstcry.com. I am fully satisfied with the quality of the products there and also the packaging and delivery. However, it's only best when discount is available, that's what I felt at the beginning. So when a family friend of ours took the franchise of Firstcry in BTM Layout and invited us to visit the store, the first thing came in my mind was the price. My hubby assured me that things are available at a reasonable price due to the inauguration offer. So we decided to visit the place once.
It was easy to locate the shop after reaching BTM. As we reached,Mr. Suresh and Mrs. Lavanya welcomed us wholeheartedly. Inauguration was just a day before, but within the short time span they organized things well.The store looked cozy and properly maintained. They were working day and night to arrange things, we felt embarrassed to invade at the moment. But their courteous behavior made us forget the situation. We offered help, then it was their turn to feel embarrassed! We decided to take a look around.
There are few sections, like clothes,dressing accessories,toilet and bathing essentials, footwear, prams,walkers,cycles,toys and games,sitting and sleeping arrangements, storage units,and so on. They have wide range of products, which starts with ready made dresses. Beautiful multicolored dresses are organized age-wise on the display rack. Those look so cute, one can feel like buying the entire store! I selected two pull on bodysuits for my princess. Lavanya gave me some important tips of buying clothes and accessories for kids.oh, what could I do without her, she's so helpful. Next was mittens and socks. I got those in one third of the price available in market. Those mittens were so soft and absolutely cute! I felt like buying booties also, but came to know they are bringing fresh stocks within a week, so postponed the idea. Then I saw one cutest pink teddy bear on the rack. Just one look at that, and hubby put that in the shopping bag. Our shopping was almost over, we wanted to see what else do they have.
Apart from clothes and toys, they have bathing and feeding accessories, personal grooming kit for newborn and toddlers,baby carriers,car seats, stroller, bathtub,high chairs and many more items. Brands range from Mee Mee to Funskool,Fisher price to Babyhug, Disney to Gini & Jony and so on. For everything a wide range of choice is available so that one can compare between products and check the price difference. They have a huge stock of diapers too. I bought a colorful soft ball from toy section and selected a good teether of Mee Mee. From the look I could realize this was going to be my shopping destination for my baby. This is the one stop shop for all requirements of a baby.
At the time of billing we got nicely surprised to find each item on a huge discount. The total bill value was way less than our expectation. At this price I would buy not even half of the items anywhere else. Mr. Suresh is a charming personality indeed,and his wife,Lavanya is the sweetest lady I have ever met after I came to Bangalore.They have a great knowledge about the need of babies of any age and they know what they're selling. I praise their helpful nature openly,till date I never got this much assistance while buying a baby product! For a first time mother like me,and with no help from family and friends, the suggestions were invaluable. We spent a great evening there and promised to come back whenever we need something in future.
I give this outlet a 4 out of 5, this is a good place to shop for babies. A must visit for new mums and confused dads who don't want to shell out huge amount on whimsical and inexperienced shopping!
