Well, if you go for a take away and people at the store start frowning when you wait for your pizza to be ready, how do you feel?
This happened to me when I went to get a pizza on a busy Wednesday night. Delivery at my place was not possible, as they told over the phone.So I decided to take it myself. When we reached the store, it was around 9. Parking is next to impossible here, we had to park far away and walk to the store. Well, I didn't find the attitude of the waiters right from the moment we entered. Somebody almost knocked me down while he was rushing out of the kitchen.They should be more careful. There must be one sitting arrangement above this store, as a staircase led above. But that was closed due to some reason. We had a plan to dine, but preferred take away when we found no empty table. After we placed the order, we had to wait for some time. The problem started then.
Two guys were leaving, we planned to sit on the empty chairs while waiting. No people were there waiting for a table. As we sat, one of the waiters came and asked us to leave the table for others. As there were nobody, we told him we will leave the table as soon as somebody approaches. He mumbled something and left. We kept waiting and this fellow kept frowning at us over the counter. It irritated my hubby, he asked me to come out of the store. We decided walking on the pavement rather than sitting inside, under the stare of that unfriendly guy. Oh, some bloody damn mosquitoes were there, they sucked half of our blood when we kept waiting. After 25 minutes our orders were ready. As soon as we saw through the glass that a person came out with a delivery slip on his hand, we entered the store. Again this person(not the one who frowned at us previously) frowned at us and told, "from long time we are calling you, sir!" Then he thrust the box on his hand and left without a single word! We were shocked to see this height of unfriendliness, but they cared less.
From then we have stopped visiting the store. Why to get insulted for a pizza? We have found our alternative near our place also. Let them enjoy their store, we will prefer some other place.
