I purchased my dishtv maxi ONE YEAR subscription on 29-08-08 which was installed at my premises on 30-08-08. Until the date of 31-08-08 Three CNBC Channels namely (1) CNN-IBN, (2) CNBC-TV18 & (3) CNBC-AWAAZ were part of Maxi package and customers who bought maxi package upto this date were supposed to get reception of these channles till theri next recharge date which in my case should have been 30-08-2009.


For people buying connection on or after 01-09-2008 charges of Rs. 25 p.m. were levied for CNBC package.The problem started after this. The DishTV people intentionally made my activation date as 03-09-2008 in their records so that they can get Rs. 25. p.m. extra from me.


When I talked to their customer care department they were literally fighting with me over the issue of activation date.


Till date I have written 3 (three) e-mails to their customer care department but my problem has not been resolved and they are not willing to listen to my problem at all.Till now I have had a horrible experience with Dish TV Team. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANY BODY TO BUY DISH TV. A SUFFERRED CUSTOMER OF DISH TV
