Poor customer support

I am using dishtv for last 8 months. I have welcome package which has most of the channels I want. and its cost it almost same as cable operator but big advantage is picture quality and faultless transmissions


(which are common which cable TV, power failure or cable cuts). For few days I felt a bit unconformable with remote menu.


Worst part with dishtv is customer support. I have registered on dishtv.in. on this site they have given option to update user profile. But it never works! For last six months I m struggling to change my email address.I have called support guys, emailed them but still it shows wrong email in profile.Everything they say they have changed it but there is some problem with website so it will show wrong email.And there is no provision of email alerts for subscription renewals.


Even SMS alert never seems to work!They have very limited payment modes. Even once payment is done they take more than 48 hrs to activate it. Last time customer care asked me to me switch on some zee channel for 4-5 hrs to activate renewal ! (don’t know what kind of technology they have )With this poor support I am don’t think dishtv can survive in market.
