All, Please do not get a Modular Kitchen from Cookscape Orchid Designs, Bangalore & Chennai. I am writing this review so other people do not suffer like how I had to. We placed order for a Modular Kitchen with Cookscape considering their quality of work even though their price is quite high compared to other Modular Kitchen dealers. Their main office is in Chennai and have quite a few branches in Bangalore including Koramanagala and Jayanagar.
We booked in Jun 2011 and per their company policy they release the material within 5 weeks after we have paid the entire amount. We paid the entire amount for the kitchen on Aug 2, 2011 and till date I have been chasing their Marketing agent, Wilson and the last pending work is still not completed even though week on week they keep saying it would be completed, After taking the money they do not even bother calling back or updating a customer on when the material would come, invariably we need to keep chasing them to get updates. The office staff and the Bangalore branch manager do not even bother to call back and respond.
The only hope is Mr Satya who is the Assistant VP from Chennai when I escalate to him he ensures to respond back within the time he commits and the work moves an inch after that. Till date I am chasing these people in Bangalore to have it completed. It simply makes no sense paying so much money assuming they give you quality work and at the end of the day chasing them to get the work done and to a work quality which is above average only. Considering the experience I have gone through please do not go for giving your order or buying a Modular Kitchen from Cookscape Orchid Design.
