CLUB RESORTO -FRAUD COMPANY - Got scammed of 1 LAC. Review on Club Resorto

I am writing to share a deeply troubling experience I had with Club Resorto, which resulted in a financial loss of ₹1, 00, 000. This ordeal began when I received an unsolicited invitation to a promotional event at the Le Meridien Hotel in Coimbatore, where I was subjected to high-pressure sales tactics.

Date of Experience: December 15, 2023

Location: Le Meridien Hotel, Coimbatore

At the event, they initially tried to sell me a package worth ₹2.5 lakhs, but I opted for a less expensive package. Despite being assured of a 10-day cancellation policy, my attempt to cancel and get a refund was outright denied, contradicting their promises.

Worse yet, they took advantage of my mother's innocence by pressuring her to sign the agreement. Their tactics were designed to exploit her trust and naivety, which only adds to the distressing nature of this experience.

The offers of free movie tickets, luxury hotel stays, and exclusive flight discounts were just bait to lure customers into making impulsive financial decisions. They also offered EMI options to make these large expenses seem more manageable, adding to their deceit.

It's clear that Club Resorto's business model involves moving from city to city, deceiving customers with false promises, and then ignoring their own cancellation and refund policies. They use reputable venues like the Le Meridien and offer complimentary snacks and coffee to create an illusion of credibility and luxury—do not be fooled by these tactics.

I strongly advise everyone to be extremely cautious with Club Resorto. Their operations are not only misleading but outright fraudulent. They claim to offer refunds, but these promises are false and only serve to temporarily placate customers. I have been waiting for a refund since the day I made the payment, with no success.

If anyone else has fallen into this trap or can offer any assistance in recovering the money, please reach out. Sharing our experiences and taking collective action may be our best recourse against this deceitful company.

However, based on my experience, communication through their provided emails at holidays@clubresorto.com and holiday3@clubresorto.com may not yield any resolution.
