Hi All,
I had booked a Flight ticket and had to cancel it due to a family emergency. Airlines charges a cancellation fee which is understood but to make things worse, as the ticket was booked through Cleartrip, they charged 215 rupees per ticket for cancellation in addition to the Airlines deduction fee for cancellation.
This is probably not known to most of the people and hence, thought of sharing on a public forum. We SHOULD NOT buy any flight ticket from Cleartrip but buy it from the Airline official site itself because if the number of passengers are more, it really pinches hard to pay 215 for each of the passengers unnecessarily. This is SAD and hopefully will help individuals who are not aware of such a process.
