Cleartrip_Support is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
I tried booking a hotel with them in the morning, they collected the money, then kept me waiting till late evening saying they had booked the rooms and will soon send a confirmation. Since no confirmation was coming, I obtained the hotel number from hotel website, and called up. They said they didn't hear from the cleartrip guys at all.
When I asked these guys they said their system had problem and they couldn't get the hotel guys on telephone. Hotel manager said they did have the rooms earlier in the day, and would still like to accommodate us. I shared the mobile number of the hotel with the cleartrip guys and asked them to book. Then at 9:30 PM they say, the hotel didn't have rooms and my money will be returned "within 14 days".
So for peace of mind, stay clear of Cleartrip.com.
