I purchased from Cars24 on January 13th at the Kompally Hyderabad center. There has been an issue with the infotainment system; certain areas of the touch screen are not working. I consulted the salesperson, also contacted customer support many times but no response.


Few days later a technician was assigned and confirmed that there was an issue and that the company would replace it. I repeatedly asked if the screen would be fixed, as I was considering returning the car within the return period. He assured me that it would be fixed and there was no need to return it.


The technician took my car to the service center and assured me that it would be fixed. After three hours, he called and said the system needed to be replaced. However, he did not mention that it would be replaced with a third-party part, which has resulted in most features of the infotainment system not working, such as navigation, Android Auto, and USB charging support. Additionally, the microphone has been added as an extension. the third party system tampers with the original electrical harness system which also voids insurance in some cases.


Since then, I have been calling customer support but no one is answering my calls or providing any support. The ticket was closed without providing any resolution, and I have reopened it, but no one is responding there.


I was now stuck with a low-quality multimedia system. When I was buying the car, I received calls from Cars24 every two hours, but now no one is responding. What type of customer support is this? I overstepped my budget to buy this car because of its multimedia system, and now I feel cheated. If I had known that a third-party display would be used, I would never have bought it.


No customer support is being provided, and I feel cheated.


Within a week I got to know that battery is not working and it needs to be replaced. My first question is did CARS24 not checked the battery, if they would have checked they would have known that it needs to be replaced. Or they dont perform these checks at all, just making customer fool.


I tried to raise a complaint on their app since one request was already open I wasnt able to open another request. At last I gave up and get the battery replaced by myself. I dont know why I bought car from CARS24 they have worst customer support.


Few days before I got a call to rate CARS24 service, there I spoke and told that I am not happy with their service. The customer support executive Santhosh helped me there and provided me a refund of nearly 50% for the battery. I really appreciate his help.


But overall the support they provided was worst. Not picking up my calls, ignoring my calls. I am stuck with a car with faulty infotainment system.
