I am writing to formally rise a serious concern regarding my recent experience with cars24, which as caused me both finical and emotional distress. on 11.08.2025 at 04:20pm. I paid Rs.1000 to book a test drive for vehicle through cars24. the next day the vehicle was delivered to my location, and we completed the test drive, during the drive, we identify the few issues and highlighted them to sales manager. we also discussed the vehicle history. based on the assurance provided by sales manager and my trust in cars24, I proceeded to pay Rs. 14000 to book the car. In the cars24 application, the listing didn`t mention any remarks regarding repainting, denting, accident, or other significant defects. the report claimed the car had passed the 140-point quality checks without any issues. However after booking the vehicle, I personally verified its history at the authorized showroom. to my shock, I discovered that the vehicle had been involved in multiple accidents, had numerous insurance claims, and several parts had been replaced due to accident damage. This is clear case of misrepresentation and withholding of critical information, which has led to a breach of trust. Such practices are unacceptable, and I consider this a serious violation of consumer rights. Buying cars from cars24 is not recommended at all.
