We've been using a Aircon Totalline Spilt AC. From the very beginning we had problems having it installed as the Support and Service is poor. After installation the cooling was good but we were rudely woken up several times during the night by strange sounds emanting from the AC. It sounded like small cracker bursts. Called up the service people and after they finally arrived and checked it out, we were told that it was due to ice formation inside the line! it was never rectified and we have not yet learnt to live with it. I'm still startled several times at night and need to switch off the AC if I need a peaceful night's sleep.
Hardly a year later, the remotestopped working. The temperature remained at 29degreesC. After several calls to the Service people, we were told that the remote had to be changed. There were absolutely no manual controls and we had to change parts which cost us Rs.7500. It was really a no win situation which was areal drain on our purse. So do beware before you buy this product.
