My elder brother has been working at Capgemini full-time from more than 3 years and this is what his experience tells me about the pros and cons of the company.
Pros
Freedom and autonomy in your area of work, many opportunities to explore new dimensions in your career. Co-workers are co-operative. Professional work environment. Respect for everyone irrespective of level in the organization. Everyone is respected for their expertise. Good work is recognized. Good individual growth, certifications and exposure to bigger clients.
Cons
Salary increments can be better. Number of holidays can be increased. No separate sick leaves - one has to utilize privilege leaves when sick. Should be more flexible in terms of work hours and work location like work from home. They provide less CTC for freshers, and notice Period of 3 months is too much.
Capgemini need to review and revise HR policies, especially in India. Also, need to look over at hike rate.
