I am using this printer for about 2 years, I am overall satisfied about this product, still now I have not face with any big hardware issues with the device, even though there occurred some small things that should be replaced, but that was only some wear and tear issues.
Canon LBP 2900B Printer, This is one of the long success brand in the market from Canon, usually most of the printers from various companies arises in the market and disappears after certain period of time from the market, but LPB 2900B is there in the market for long years, and this is a success product of Canon, and the main thing is that 90% of the customers are satisfied with the product.
Based on my experience with this laser printer, this is a long lasting device, I used to get 4000 - 5000 clear printouts in one cartridge, and the best thing is that the prints finishes in seconds like high end xerox machines, this is a perfect machine for office, the small issues that I have faced is that the drum of the printer gets damaged after 6 months or 1 years, but this usually happens when low gsm papers are used for printing.
Some Tips for Canon LPB 2900B Users:
Use appropriate GSM Paper( 80 gm is perfect)
Dont use Used papers( One side printed Papers)
Dont used stapled papers for printings.
Dont keep the printer long term without using.
