Whenever we hear the word coffee, we instantaneously think about **CAFÉ COFFEE DAY(CCD).** It quite a popular place to **hang around with friends**. But, what I feel is it’s a total **waste of your money**.
I have just been to CCD once with my wife before marriage and I must say the experience was quite pathetic. We had been to CCD at Carter Road, Bandra(W). Firstly, it took them 30 minutes to the order and almost 45 minutes to serve the order. We had ordered for two cups of Cappuccino coffee. The coffee was quite bitter to taste. And it’s quite hard to imagine even after putting 5 sachets of sugar, it was still bitter. We finished it somehow and left from there. It was quite expensive too, with the bill coming around to Rs. 300/-. They took almost 20 minutes to get the bill too.
It’s quite hard to imagine how people end up in CCD. That was perhaps the last time in my life that I would ever go to a CCD outlet. If you want to hang around and just gossip with friends its good, but when it comes to Coffee, It’s quite expensive.
I rather feel that a **Rs.10/- Coffee on the roadside stall** is better than CCD.
