Bertsy's bar and restuarant was recommended by a guide as 3 of our party wanted to eat fish. They tried 3 different types of fish; pomfret, Indian salmon and Bombay Duck which was the favourite. Completely different to the Bombay Duck that was strips of dried fish that they were expecting. This looked like battered fish as in fish and chips.
My tandoori paneer tikka was superb and as this is my favourite Indian dish, I am something of an expert! We were lucky to get a table without queuing as this restaurant is clearly a favourite for everyone, not just tourists. The ambience is good and the service courteous and attentive. Pricy but definitely worth a visit.
