In the month of January 2017 I travelled to Mumbai from Bengaluru International Airport. My flight timing was 3:30 pm in afternoon so I left for the airport at 12 noon as the airport is located in the outskirts of the city, it easily takes around 1 to 1:30 hrs to reach airport, if there is traffic on the way then you are screwed there is a great possibility that you will miss your flight, so always leave early for the airport so you can reach on time. Now talking about the infrastructure of the airport, the infrastructure is awesome. Being in the outskirts of the city the major advantage is that it has got huge parking space and also the airport is well planned. There are trees on both sides of the road on the way to airport. You can reach airport by bus and by taxis. Security is well managed in the airport and the security personnel are also helpful. There is elevator facility for the senior citizens and handicapped . Bengaluru airport have many shopping options and there are food outlets of almost every brand .The moment you step out of airport there taxis available so there is no issue for transportation to main city. In all Bengaluru airport is a complete package of all required facalities to be present in any airport.
