This salon has recently launched beauty services, which I made the mistake of availing because I assumed that they would be of a high quality. I went for eyebrows, upper lip and face waxing. Immediately after the services, I experienced a burning sensation near my upper lip and eruptions on my face. However, the beautician Amrita assured me that this would settle in some time, and just applied some aloe vera gel.
Once I got home, the burning got worse. Two days before Diwali, I now have a burn on my upper lip which will definitely leave a mark. I also have eruptions on my face post waxing which aren’t showing any signs of settling.
When the salon was contacted, they weren’t able to provide any solutions. I spoke to the receptionist, who told me that someone would contact me soon, and that hasn’t happened yet either.
I think it’s better to stay away from a salon that doesn’t take the safety of their customers seriously, and shirks responsibility.
