There was traffic jam. We got off the car and told our driver that we will do quick shopping and return within 1 hour. There were loads of stuffs to see and shop in this huge area. 2-3 hours would be a better range. You have to really bargain for a better price. Try to negotiate for 1/2 the quoted price and if it is not possible, try for 1/3 the price!:) A great place to shop for souvenirs
Thus market is fun, easy going and offers a ton of variety. Yes, it's full of tourist stuff but it's a one-stop shop to get all your wares. Lots of choices and all the vendors we dealt with were very friendly. Even if you don't want to shop it's worth a wanders. We went back a second time at night but it wasn't open so go during the day!
