I have used (been a victim) of this courier company while ordering gifts to India through Infibeam. They have depicted very unprofessional and poor quality of services at multiple occations.
I wouldn't have deployed their services after they failed twice, however I was on mercy of Infibeam.com which on one hand charged premium from me and on the other hand had inexplicable affinity to these cheap logistics partner which I don't think has the capacity to handle things.
As a customer I don't expect magic. I had worked in North, West and East Indian cities and hence well versed with ground realities. I know there could be reasons for courier delays, however under no circumstances it could extend to 15 days.. at least I don't expect Customer Care to ignore update requests.
1. I kept poking them to forward the package through Infibeam, it was never seamless. One item is still missing and I don't know for sure when it has gone.
- Status updates are slow and misleading. For instance 'Forwarded to destination country'/ 'reached beyond Delivery Area' in couple of cases they didn't update website after actually delivering it - so we knew after speaking to recipient over phone.
I often encountered this quote at their website.. "We read the Economist".. I could not understand whether I should quietly smile to myself or it was meant for 1st April day. Big deal, they read the economist!
My advice: If you have something which is time critical or valuable, don't trust them, at least in India.
