*Airtel broadband has good technical team, I hardly face any technical problem. Even If I get one, it is solved within 2 to 3 hours. But their billing department is the worst that you can come accross! We have to check the bill thoroughly before making payment. *
*I have unlimited Airtel broadband connection(1Mbps) with free telephone connection(no rent, pay only when you talk for more than Rs100/-) for so many years.as I was worried about their wrong billing with limited usage plan! I make my payments on line as I hate dropping cheque(once got lost!) or waiting in long Q at the age of 65!*
*For the last 3 months my bills were always wrong. I came to know only when I saw that they have charged for using broadband though it is unlimited! *
*It took lot of time to make the incompetent people in their billing department to understand. Finally I had to take it to higher authority to get it solved. They made adjustment in the last month bill. Thank God!*
*As usual I paid my bill on line. Normally within 72 hours it will show in my payment history on line. But even after 15 days of payment, it showed as'not paid'. When I contacted Airtel, they confirmed that they have not received though I gave my online transaction details. *
*But it showed in my SBI credit card statement, through which I made online, as they have paid Airtel.*
*As I could not get any positive result from Airtel, I contacted SBI credit card customer care.hats off to them. They traced and it was found that Airtel has sent it to Bangalore instead of Chennai!*
*SBI was kind enough to track and give me the Bangalore transaction details.*
*I gave the details to Airtel and it took 3 days again for Airtel to correct and transfer to my account.*
*Now I understand I should check the bill thoroughly before paying. It is better to pay directly in their nearest branch office and get the receipt.*
