I had booked a hotel in while I travelled to Sri Lanka for 27th Feb 2020. I had arrived on that location a day earlier. So I asked the hotel if they can shift my stay starting from 26th Feb till 28th Feb. The Hotel people said that I will have to talk to Agoda for this. When I talked to them, all they said was they will call back. The hotel was entirely empty. Only one more room was occupied. Not that we werent paying for 2 nights, we were but just that we wanted to start our stay from 26th to 28th and not 27th to 29th. If the hotel is running empty, whats the issue? Firstly, Agoda asked me to cancel the booking made from 27th to 29th, which was a non refundable booking, secondly when I asked them to accommodate as no ones stay was getting hampered, on their website it showed that no rooms are available however they had all rooms available except for one.
