I have been using ACT Broadband and Cable connection last couple of years, most of the month 10% of my mobile charges are spent on ACT.
Major issues with Broadband.
a.The connectivity is never stable.
b.SLA of 24 working hours spans to 3 working days, most often they utilize complete 3 days.
c.ACT changed from postpaid to prepaid inspite of customers opposing (by mistake ACT sent a mail with all customers in CC).
d.Upgrade of plan is effective immediately and downgrade is only in next billing cycle even if the speed is same in both plans. Ideally it should be prorate basis.
Major issues with Cable Connection
a.The connectivity is never stable.
b.Quality is bad inspite of using SetUp box.
