I recently tried to download a few movies with 123Movies and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The site itself is fairly easy to navigate and provides a good number of movies and television shows, but the user interface is outdated and covered in ads.
It's not an intuitive platform, and you might spend some time hunting around to find what you want. The biggest problem for me was the pop-ups and redirects all the time. It's annoying when you're wanting to watch something and you're taken to a different site instead. Even if I just click on the screen, I’m redirected to a third party website. Lots of ads and spams. Some of the ads are very vulgar and not appropriate for this site. Even though I like the convenience of free downloads in HD quality, the overall experience could be better with an ad-blocker. I feel 123Movies should have a mobile app to stream content on the go. It would be much safer and convenient.
