Once you enter an aircraft, off late, more often than ever, we get a feel of entering a interstate luxury bus. But, I flew Vistara for the first time yesterday- I truly got the feeling of Singapore Airlines. Well maintained brand new, clean aircraft, excellent in flight crew and service. The food was great- only feedback is that the quantity of their meal was rather low and not filling unlike Air India.
The check in and reception on boarding too was excellent.
I hope Vistara connects more cities and Bangalore in particular with better time slots. The Delhi flight that I took was almost 70% occupied only- which saddened me. If they maintain this standard, Vistara will rule the market. I guess they should do away with their premium economy cabin and maintain a 2 class configuration for better yield and profitability.
Hope Vistara does well. Would like to fly with them again.
