It surprises me that ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ was even compared to Terminator Salvation, the latter being way superior in terms of everything – script, special effects, performance, photography, et al.
Shia LaBeouf as Sam yet again keeps battling with aliens, rather the anti-human robots Decepticons in this one too in order to save earth. I wonder why this youngster keeps playing the same role over and over again – a human running away from aliens who holds the key to save earth. LaBeouf is highly repetitive and thus anything but impressive. Giving him company by running along is his ‘hot but not bright’ girlfriend Mikaela
The robots make great entries like most superstars do by displaying their power through their humungous size and flying ability but fail to resist death when targeted by US military’s gunfire!
Another problem with the film is the robot’s fluctuating sizes. In air and water the Robots look smaller compared to what they look on land.
The humans are less in quantity compared to robots but are far more interesting than the robots who populate and pollute the film. Except for few funny moments for 15-year-olds there is nothing really impressive about the film. Overall a okk movie not dat good.A one time watch.
