Antivirus softwares has become very essential if you are using a computer running on windows OS.There are lot many available on the market.
So choosing the right software is troublesome.
Moreover there are different types from same manufacturers as well, So you have to choose one according to your needs.As you know most antivirus affects system when we plug in removable medias like pendrives or external harddisks.Besides this virus can affect the system when we use Internet also.
There are different types of viruses.moreover there are things like trojans, worms, adwares etc, which are not viruses but affect our system badly.
A proper antivirus should be able to prevent these unwanted programs from affecting the system and also should be able to detect infected files and remove them effectively. My advice is to buy a paid version of antivirus as they prevents viruses better.My personal choice is kaspersky antivirus. Moreover on buying an antivirus there will be options like total, Internet security or antivirus. If your system doesn't have internet you need only antivirus.I strongly recommend buying total as it protects system from both internet threads as well as viruses from external medias. Internet security only prevents viruses from internet being downloaded into system.
