I went to see this movie with my family and we just loved it. Frankly, I had read a few reviews and they were not inspiring. But I found it exactly opposite of what they had suggested.
Let me start with the end. I just love it. All credit goes to the producer to have the guts to go for an unconventional end. The movie is all about the character of a Thug played by Aamir Khan and things happen to him. I won't reveal the plot further but the treatment of the story is engaging.
Aamir Khan really impresses once again. His character in the movie has so many colours and largely negative shade that remains with him throughout the movie.
Big B is great and speaks very less. His presence and aura he creates make it a big movie.
War scenes at sea look real and impressive.
Once things I fail to understand; Why Aamir Khan takes his friend with himself? Aamir says he will benefit from his'Knowlege' of birds, but there is no use of his knowledge in the movie. Very strange. May be, they decided to hide a few details about the Big B character during the edit.
