We booked a Taxi from ISRO Layout to Sahakarnagar this evening at Bangalore. I received an SMS about an hour before the taxi was supposed to arrive- that I have got an upgrade.
Alas, a non AC Indica came. My old mother, who is a Senior Citizen, boarded the cab. **The driver started asking her for the route. When she could not explain, the cab driver called me and asked me for the route.*
When I asked him **if he was not aware of the route to take**, he told me that he knew the route, but wanted to check with me about the route that I preferred (how strange). **This itself shows that if the passenger is unaware, the plan was to take the most circuitous route and bill as much as possible.*
AT the end of the journey, the bill amount was Rs.367. but the Driver claimed that there was a system error and collected Rs.400 from my aged mother. Since I was not at home, I could not confront the driver.
When my mother informed me about the fare she paid, I called the driver on his mobile and confronted him. The kind of thug and rogue he was, he told me to do what ever I want and that he cared a damn about this.
I have lodged a complaint with the call center of TFS- **but I am pretty confident that no action will be taken as the end objective is to loot collectively.** For those who have read my review- if you still want to opt for this cab- please do so at your own risk.
My suggestion- Use Ola cabs, Mega cabs or Meru. They are far better than this fraud taxi company. This was the first time I used TFS and certainly, it will be the last time.
