TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES is one of the best company in INDIA, in terms of creating Profit. But the reality is something different. No doubt a company runs to make profits but making a profit on the verge of reducing the pay hike of employees. The average pay hike in TCS is 2-3% which is even lower than the INFLATION rate of our economy.
I worked for TCS in 2014. I realised that career growth is bare minimum as after 10years of experience an individual can only reach to a level of LEAD. Work environment is pathetic. So much pressure is created there, as employee cannot handle it. Worked there even on weekends. Very few cultural or sports activities. LayOffs are now part and parcel of TCS so No Job Security. Didn't like the company and I switched it very soon.
