Star Health and Allied Insurance Co Ltd is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.

No problem in policy issuance, renewal notice, renewal premium payment etc.


But you will start facing problem when you go for claim


I applied for cashless approval but 2 times denied without citing any reason. Simply mentioned, after thorough assessment of your cashless claim request(claim no- .), we regret to inform you that we are unable to approve it for cashless hospitalisation. For any queries, please call us on 044-69006900.


But I kept on asking what is the reason for not accepting cashless claim- no reason provided- when they thought, this customer is not going to leave us and they are trapped, they have approved cashless claim after 3 days.


At so many places, you will find cashless approval in 30 minutes.


One more incident, I applied for reimbursement request, but even after 1 month, amount not yet received.


Even hospital insurance claim desk informed that- Claim rejection us highest in Star health insurance.


They have a branch in Maninagar- Ahmedabad- their staff feels like government employee and a peon is sitting for acceptance of claim documents and issuing receiving signed by him.


Appears to be worst.
