I had taken a spectranet connection in electronic city, bangalore in january this year.
While booking the connection I paid Rs3300 as an advance rental for 3 months. The installation was free but it happened after 10 days as the I had to chase the staff everyday for installation.
I used to call the customer support everyday to take my installation status but didn't get a satisfactory answer. Finally it was revealed that they were delaying the installation due to a server down issue.
But my question is that ethically they should not take new connection requests if they cannot fulfill them to which they had no answer.
After installation I have not received any connection issues and the speed is always more than 10 Mbps.
Also please note that they do not change your internet plans in the middle of the month. You need to place a request before the new billing cycle.
